About Kim

I currently am Co-founder of the YBR Realty Group of Long & Foster. We are a team of 4 great friends and excellent agents, relying on each other when needed, sharing our expertise and knowledge in order to guide our clients, provide a great experience and create lasting relationships.

One of my strengths is working with relocating buyers. I have lived in many states, Washington, Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois, Northern Virginia and finally 25 years in the Raleigh area. I guess you could say I am a relocation expert. My passion is Triangle living, culture, weather, food, and our geography and I want to share it with all I meet.

I have been an Independent Agent & Training Manager for new agents coming to our company and our office since 2007. Helping fellow agents & brand new agents is something I have also enjoyed. My 29 years in Healthcare has transferred to a love for nurturing first time home buyers. My training manager role, helps me educate, advise and guide my clients through the home buying process. My biggest compliment is when they refer their friends and family to me down the road.

Working with seasoned or repeat buyers is another passion, even during a pandemic, viewing homes is fun, but alerting clients to the good and the bad, navigating multiple offers, recommending inspections and negotiating repairs, is all part of the process. The new construction process is another facet I enjoy and am always amazed how different each neighborhood, builder and their processes are. Do you need an agent when purchasing new construction? 100% yes!

I love working with sellers, preparing their home to make it the best it can be, whether determining with the best pricing strategy, recommending service providers or staging the home to appeal to all buyers, I get the job done with the least amount of hassle and sell it for the very best price. I often hear, "if I knew my house could look this good, I would not sell". Simply putting a sign in the yard is not enough.. our team showcases the home to get the very best results.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two dogs, our 3 kids and their spouses and our one and only grandson (thank you face time). I love gardening, visiting the many walking trails in our area, and cooking. We are dabbling in pickle ball which we really enjoy and spending time at the North Carolina Coast.

In short, Real Estate and building relationships with my clients is my passion. I would love to help you with all your Real Estate needs. It will be fun and you will be my priority!
